The following are some common quirks of risograph printing. Please read the following carefully, as we will not issue refunds or replacements based on these imperfections:
Ink smudges
Risograph ink uses soy or rice bran oil as its substrate. Because of this, the ink never fully dries. A dense application of ink can cause smudging on hands and prints. Every copy of the zine has a few places of ink smudging and this is normal. Please make sure you have dry hands while handling your zine.
Registration
When printing, the paper pushed through the machine may shift slightly, causing a misalignment of two layers on top of one another. The act of matching up two layers to line up as intended is called registration. This slight offset is one of risograph printing’s many charms.
Handcraft errors
Paper Press Punch prints each book manually. They do an incredible job, but there might be a chance your copy may have a negligible mark or a cropping error on the last page (not on artwork).

All orders are final sale. Order requests or changes will not be allowed.
Shipping Methods
All packages are shipped via the United States Postal Office from Seattle WA, United States with USPS First Class Mail and tracking.
Returns & Exchanges
Cancellations and exchanges: All orders are final sale and not eligible for cancellations, refunds, exchanges, or modifications once the payment has been made.
Lost packages: Once a package is shipped, we are no longer responsible for it, or the damages inflicted on its contents.
- US Orders: Contact your local post office if your package has been stuck as “in transit” for 2-4 weeks
- International Orders: Contact your local post office if your package has been stuck as “in transit” for 2-3 months
- If your package status states "delivered" but you have not received it, we suggest contacting the post office to see if they are still holding your package or reaching out to your neighbors in case they might have received it by mistake
Damaged Items: Products damaged or missing while in transit due to negligence from postmen, customer, or weather damage are not refundable or replaceable.
Example: Incorrect address input by the customer, mishandling or damage during transit
We will be responsible for replacing or refunding damaged and incomplete packages due to our negligence.
Example: Incorrect or missing items, defected merchandise caused by mishandling during packaging, address on the postal label not matching the address on the order.
Please contact us within the first 7 days from the delivered date with proof of the broken or damaged item. We can provide a replacement if there is available stock.
Returned packages: If the post office returns your package, please contact us. In this case, we can offer you two options:
- Refund your order (excluding tax and shipping fees)
- Have the package reshipped (with an additional shipping fee)
International Shipping
If your country is listed here we cannot ship to you at this time due to USPS policy.
We will ship out to the EU, but please bear in mind that all EU customers are responsible for managing their VAT upon the package’s arrival.
Specifically for customers in the UK and Germany, there are new VAT and packaging laws that may result in your package being returned or disposed of by your country's customs. In the case your package is returned, we will refund your order excluding the shipping fees. In the case of the latter, if your country disposes of the package we will not refund your order, so please keep this risk in mind when you purchase from our store.
When will my order arrive
Please allow up to 3 weeks for us to process, package, and ship out your order. You will be sent a tracking number once your package is ready to be shipped.
US domestic shipments will take about 2-10 days for delivery with no delays.
International shipments will take about 10-30 days for delivery with no delays. Due to various COVID-19 situations and country restrictions, your package may be delayed 3-5 months depending on how your country regulates its customs department.
We will send the digital zine and merch files to you with the email provided within 1-3 business days. This is a manual process, so if you haven't received your copy after 3 days please contact us.
